"A large species of winged dinosaurs (NOT Chiroptera or Pterosaurs, despite superficial differences), these large winged predators are distant cousins of the Vapour Island Vultursaurs. With a wingspan of roughly five feet, they are powerful enough flyers to actually drag a human along the ground for several feet. Without Skull Island's native Pterosaur population keeping their numbers in check, these winged horrors have multiplied at terrifying speed. While Vultursaurs were territorial and occasionally aggressive, the Leafwings are downright vicious. They have been observed consuming a small pufferfish species that lives off the island's coast, presumably ingesting the psychoactive toxins in the animal's body in the process. An animal that voluntarily induces psychosis on itself may be unique on Earth, but it has resulted in one of the island's most dangerous predators. Though they generally feed on smaller animals and fruits, they are known to swoop down en masse on unfortunate people, snatching them up, carrying them away, and tearing them apart in midair. Their long, sharp head-spike exudes a powerful narcotic; when jabbed into prey, it numbs their pain and allows the creatures less resistance from struggling prey. Nieves suffered this horrible fate yesterday. We never saw them coming."

Reality check: this is one of the flying creatures from "Kong: Skull Island". I do not own the rights, etc, etc... and a tip o' the hat to DiplodocusDinosaur and his idea for making them Vultursaur relatives!
