i think the detail you put into these mermaids is superb, sometimes this can be overpowering though. but here its is not the case. making the backround simple and all one color it really made it a wonderful artwork

woah this is osm!!! I mean like it's different from how others usually imagine a mermaid because it had more of a robotic reptilish tail and it doesn't look like this pretty little mermaids in movies or pictures it's more like a sea ruler or demon

..... Wow. THIS IS WHAT MERMAIDS SHOULD LOOK LIKE. I like how she looks like a sea creature, rather than a half formed human, with a fish tail plonked on the end. And I like how she looks wild and primitive - some of the patterns made by her scales and other parts of her body remind me of tribal markings- which seems really appropriate for a species that lives in one of the most isolated, unknown places on earth. She looks like she belongs to nature. Well. Done. This is inspiring.
