Description Well this is Coelen with her twin brother Beynar(bay-nar). Since Her father and the two eldest brothers Odeis and Baerist(bay-rist) are in war, thier grandfather Adear, as he is training two fo them, sends them off on all kinds of quests. Generally Beynar likes to complain, but when it comes to battle he is always zestful...as a warrior should be, sometimes he is even a show off that he becomes a bit incautious.

(personally this is his most hideous picture of Beynar, I have at least three better ones but I wanted to finish this painting as it has been sitting on my easel and just poking me in the eyes ever since July)

The creature sitting on the mineral pillar is an Eamel((E-amel), on Almatica(all-matica) these creatures are made by god Menethan who is god of technology, they are sort of bio mechanical creatures. They react on a combination of metals which wakes them from sleep (they are petrified(look like statues) when they are in a sleeping stasis) the neural technometal and the white glowiron(there are blue and green sorts too) are the metals that are used for operating with them. As you can see the Coelen and her brother have the white patterns on them(her the skirt part and him the jacket) when a Eamel rider comes close, within the range of the 5meters he wakes. They can be found in many places on Almatica but they are very few in numbers, to own one you have to be a warrior or a person of diplomatic importance.

Whew sorry for such a long artist comment

A4 size, mostly watercolors and white and blue gel pens, I used B6 and H led pencils for the shadows. The scan is a bit wonky I'll add a cleaner file some other day.

That's gorgeous scene - so much to look at - I don't know where to start!
Oh well, maybe I just move from top to bottom.

Eamel, that's one cool creature! His design look really great and background story is also interesting. Especially his tattoos are fascinating: legendary looking creature has such technical markings on his skin! That gives nice hint of his biomechanical nature.

The pilar Eamel is sitting on is also very well done; I like a lot that white outlining. Coelen and his brother look as beautiful and handsome as always!

Thanks, I'm kinda coming back to drawing scenes with lots of details..don't know, they kinda relax me...tho now I don't have that much time to do too many of them.

I kinda like the way those mineral stones look with that white outline, they almost look special.

Drawing details really can be relaxing! Too bad it is so time-consuming, like you said.

Yeah, it really creates nice effect!
