Description There are three ships here:
1. Is the Titanic, still WIP and in the background.
2. The second is the Titanic's tender, S.S Nomadic, and is the vessel with the funnel.
3. My father's yacht behind the Nomadic, a standard 34 footer.

I made this for fun to show the size differences of these boats and to give some sense of scale to my Titanic model which, though slightly inaccurate and soon to be updated, can be found here:

Do you have one of the Lusitania, Mauretania and Aquitania?

Will you expand on this showing Titanic to modern ocean liners like QM 2?

One nice pic would be to compare Clive Plummer's Titanic 2 to the original ship. (TBH I can easily see a way to redesign Titanic 2 to keep the original look, but without changing the modern safety concerns.  Thomas Andrews original idea of two rows of boats can still work. The davit design can be the original design, but the number is that seen on Olympic from 1913 on to 1925 or have the usual inboard set of boats and the davits swung out with the outer row ready to go. 4 boats inboard latched to the deck as seen in your pic here, the davits swung out with the outer row of 4, and 8 collapsible boats. The lifeboats though are the modern design instead of the original. )

Maybe one day when I do QM2, as I plan to!

You may find this drawing interesting;

Its rough but shows Titanic, Hindenburg, a car, an Arado Ar-196, a house, a person and a U-Boat in scale

Cool.

Will there be a pic of Titanic 2 compared to the original?

Will you be making one of the wreck?  One idea would be seeing the ship reconstructed via the known pieces.

I'll probably work on these things in the future, sure! But they would be a long way off since I have some other projects running at present

I understand.

Have you thought to make art of the Akademik Keldysh? This ship has visited the wreck of Titanic many times. Yet no one has made art of it or a model kit. As popular as the ship got from the Titanic movie. I'm surprised.

Thats a good idea! It's certainly strange how nobody else has bothered to make even an image of the ship!

You should do  it given the art you've made already.

This pic being a good example.

I was about to say "Unfortunately so", but I think its great that she's still around and has recently been restored. Very fortunate indeed.

The most important is that NOMADIC is still with us today, and is an everlasting, passionating witness of the previous presence of a giant Ocean Liner that turned out to be the most famous ever.

Not quite Titanic's sister. Nomadic was more like a distant cousin. xD

OLYMPIC Class' assigned tender, for the record.
After TITANIC, NOMADIC would serve any bigger vessel transiting the Cherbourg.
On the movie theme TITANIC, one could barely notice the tiny tender side by side with that leviathan!
There was also TRAFFIC, wich is the "real" sister ship to the NOMADIC.

Yes, Traffic was an interesting vessel. Not too much lying around on her in terms of blueprints and whatnot. Clearly not too much attention is given to vessels intended for Third Class.
