Description S.S Nomadic (1911-??)
The S.S Nomadic was a luxury White Star Line vessel designed to ferry up to 1,000 passengers and cargo to the Olympic class liners, Olympic, Titanic and Britannic (originally Gigantic). While Nomadic would tend to the First and Second Class passengers, a second tender, the S.S Traffic would carry the Third Class passengers to the ship. The tenders such as Nomadic and Traffic were required as, at the time time Titanic was so large that getting into smaller ports was incredibly difficult and sometimes impossible. Thus, while the liner would anchor offshore, the tenders would sail to and from the ship bringing passengers and cargo. Nomadic still lives today! She is the last remaining White Star ship and, after spending many years as a restaurant on the Seine in Paris, she is finally being restored in Belfast.

What scale do you use for these? I see that this is scale to the Titanic. I've heard of 2 pixels per meter and 22 per meter. What's this one?

Hi there! Sorry for the delay, hopefully you're still interested!
The scale works out to be around 8 pixels per meter. You can find the scale positioned at the bottom of my bigger liner drawings such ashere;

I found the scale large enough to include minute details but not so large that I could not print it myself!
Kind regards,
Mike
