Thank you! I love doing lines with a scratchy pen, they pick up a lot of interest all on their own.

ARE YOU WRITING ANOTHER STORY WITH MISTER DARCY?!
-No! This novel is a social commentary.
Is it a social commentary about hunky dreamboats?
-NO!
Is there a make out scene?
-LEAVE ME ALONE.
That is what comes to mind when I see this picture. I want to court him SO HARD! I darn neatly, and have a generous dowry!!!!

Sexy! I really like the thin, dark lines. Flat colors work marvelously.

.... weirdly I have a character with much a similar hairstyle, as he's a time traveler who specializes in 1600-1900 (or around there). When I saw this pic I had to click because it reminded me so much of the character, only cooler! (He can't manage the sideburns. He always gets them uneven so he just gave up on it.)
Your lines and style are eye-poppingly awesome.

Mmm, green. I love how the colors aren't completely in the lines. And such.

Oh, I love the lines! On the collar in particular, and also his facial expressions.
The hair's nifty, but I especially enjoy his sideburns, and his turned-down nose. He looks vaguely amused. ^^

Nineteenth century hairstyles (muttonchops!) can't be more ridiculous than some of the specimens you find in high school yearbooks from the '70s and '80s.
My dad merely stuck with some mildly shaggy hair, thank god.

I forgot to say, I like this a lot. His hair may be poofy, but it's poofy in a way that fits in with this style really well. Better this than the torturously greased-down hair in the '20s.

The flat colours turned out really nicely! Also I am a sucker for thin lines like that, particularly when paired with sideburns. Or cravats. Or... anything else about him realy.
