Fictional Story
There is a legend that gods from various cultures and times take on human form from time to time in order to live at least a little among mortals. They wondered what it was like to feel hungry, thirsty, tired, and even loved. Sometimes it happened that the gods fell in love with ordinary mortals and even had children. One of these gods was the Egyptian god of the sky and the sun, Horus.
Judging by the old manuscripts, one of the children of Horus was a man named Saʽid. He was the commander-in-chief of a small military town where he and his friends hosted travelers and homeless people and protected them from bandits and dangerous animals.
Once, Horus appeared to Saʽid and presented him with a powerful weapon, the staff of Ra, for all his services and good deeds that Saʽid was able to accomplish in his 35 years of life. He was an excellent warrior, and he easily found a use for his new, unusual weapons.
Later, the town of Saʽid was attacked by a man named Hasiris. He was the son of Set, the god of the deserts. He hunted his own kind, his siblings and cousins, killed them, and absorbed their powerful souls with the help of his magical amulet; Saʽid was the next one.
The Son of Horus defeated Hasiris. He killed his cousin, and imprisoned the dark soul in the staff of Ra so that he could never get out again. However, the writings mention that in order to finally close Hasiris inside the artifact, Saʽid had to sacrifice his soul and become a kind of seal for the staff. The body of the man was buried in family tombs, and the staff of Ra, along with the amulet, was walled up in old ruins not far from the town.
At the beginning of the 20th century, archaeologists dug up the stash. They discovered artifacts and writings that told this story. All these things were transferred by archaeologists to a museum in England. And in the early 2000s, the artifacts were moved to the New York Museum. So they remained there until recently.
Nowadays
The young hero, Alan Morgan, or as the people of New York now call him, Karnak, after the Egyptian city, told us something like a continuation of the story that was in the old scriptures.
It happened when Alan and his high school classmates were being given a tour of the museum. At that time, masked people burst into the building with weapons, and they took the staff and the amulet, the same artifacts that are mentioned in the ancient text. The robbers also grabbed the first person they came across from the crowd, and this person turned out to be Alan.
Later, the guy learned that he was captured by cultists worshipping an ancient god named Hasiris. They knew that their god was held captive in this staff and planned to release him, and Alan was supposed to become something like a new body for this god.
But during the ritual, the guy was able to free himself and grab the staff from the man’s hands just at that moment when he was unsealing the artifact. A dark wave erupted from the staff and Alan lost consciousness. When he woke up, there was no one around.
Morgan told us that when he regained consciousness, he heard a voice in his head. This voice called himself " Saʽid." For many years, Saʽid held the seal and held back Hasiris, preventing him from getting out. During the ritual and unsealing of the artifact, Saʽid was thrown into the physical body closest to him, which turned out to be Alan's one.
The ancient spirit told the boy about Hasiris and the demigods. Saʽid also told Morgan about the staff of Ra, how to use it, and its powers, including the ability to fly and call the staff to himself wherever it is. The demigod assumed that Hasiris most likely possessed the cultist, took the amulet, and went to wreak chaos and devastation. Saʽid and Alan must be one and work together to stop the ancient evil, otherwise it will take over the world.
Despite the fact that Hasiris was very powerful, Alan and Saʽid eventually defeated him and absorbed his soul into the amulet, imprisoning him once and for all in his own weapon. But unfortunately, Saʽid could not leave Alan's body, as if he was stuck in it, and in order to free himself, this would most likely require very powerful magic. Alan returned the staff to the museum and hid the amulet so that no one else got access to it anymore.
A couple of days later, Morgan came to the museum. He was dressed in a black hoodie with a gold ankh on his back, and on his head was a mask completely covering his face. Alan demonstratively called the staff of Ra to himself and, in front of the museum workers, declared that he was a powerful demigod and that the artifact belonged to him. However, he promised that he would use the staff of Ra exclusively for good purposes, protecting the city and its inhabitants from various threats.
Karnak is now 17 years old. He is one of New York's youngest superheroes and is a member of the teenage super hero team "Young Defenders." Alan gained new skills and super abilities thanks to the powerful artifact of the staff of Ra and Saʽid, his teacher and mentor, with whom he shares the same body. And who knows, maybe one day they will be able to find a way to get Saʽid out of the body and thereby free the spirit of the Egyptian demigod.
Powers and abilities
In Alan's body, in addition to his soul, there is the soul of an ancient demigod named Saʽid, which gives him a number of powers and skills, including the ability to use the Staff of Ra.
.
Saʽid
The senses
Being in the body of Alan, Saʽid is able to feel what the guy does not feel..
- The ancient spirit is able to see and hear through the etheric layer, which allows him to freely communicate with the local beings, the spirits and ghosts.
- Saʽid also senses the approach of danger and is able to determine the lies.
High peak human physical condition
- The constant presence of Saʽid in Alan's body increases his strength, endurance, stamina, agility, speed, and reflexes to the peak of human capabilities.
Saʽid’s skills
- Saʽid is an excellent military tactician and strategist. He possesses ancient, long-forgotten martial arts skills, both in hand-to-hand combat and with various types of melee weapons.
The Staff of Ra
An ancient Egyptian artifact that bestows its owner with a variety of extraordinary abilities.
Flight
- Holding the staff in his hands, Karnak is able to fly, and his flight speed reaches up to 500 km per hour.
2.Generation Energy
- The staff is able to generate the energy of the sun in the form of a powerful laser beam, bright flashes, or simply create light to illuminate the path.
3.Protection
- The artifact is able to generate an energy dome-like barrier that defends against evil, darkness, and physical and energy attacks.
4.Healing
- With the help of the staff, Alan is able to heal minor and moderate wounds to both himself and others.
5.Calling
- Wherever the staff of Ra is, Karnak is able to summon it to him. When flying towards its owner, the artifact is able to accelerate to the speed of light.
6.The Staff protection
- The staff is protected from those who are not its owners. It generates an aura around it that burns anyone who holds this artifact in their hands.
Compatibility
- Insofar as the souls of Alan and Saʽid are in the same body, they have common thoughts and knowledge. For example, Alan can easily understand Saʽid's ancient Egyptian language, while the spirit understands English. They constantly communicate with and learn from each other about something new. For example, Saʽid teaches Alan how to use weapons and their abilities and how to use various tactics and strategies in battle. In response, Alan introduces him to modern culture and values.
Control
Sometimes, Saʽid is able to take control of Alan's body. When this happens, all of the body's physical characteristics are raised to divine levels.
- In this state, Karnak is incredibly fast and durable. He has no equal in battle, and with the help of the staff, he is able to heal severe wounds and even resurrect the recently dead.
- But this exhausts Saʽid very much. A few minutes later, he loses control of his body, and all of Alan's superpowers disappear, including the ability to use the staff. In this state, Alan again becomes an average man, but after half an hour, all of his powers return.
Alan Morgan
Skills
If you count the ancient semi-divine spirit in Alan's body, then he is an ordinary person without super powers.
- Morgan is in sporting condition.
- In high school, he was the captain of the volleyball team. He also goes to sections for karate and kickboxing.
