At least it's not the Jagdpanzer IV L/70 (A). The Flatpanzer's tall estranged brother

But it also not the Jagdpanzer IV L/70 (V) Version cause it didn’t have a musslebreak on it’s gun

True. But the L/70 is basically an upgrade for the Jagdpanzer IV

I know but most of them were upgraded with this gun which where also used by The Panzerkampfwagen V Panther (I’m a German sorry for the Words) only that the Panther had a small Musslebreak

Well I'm not sure it's the same gun.
I mean the Panzer 4's 75mm L/48 was a KwK gun.
StuG III/IV carried the same 75mm L/48. Only it was a StuK and not KwK.

It has to do something with the German Language it’s the same gun only that KwK stands for Kampfwagenkanone (Tank Gun) and StuK for Sturmgeschützkanone (SPG Gun) so it’s because the different Tank type it’s mounted on

Yeah. Despite having extremely long winded names for things. The Germans are pretty simple with designations.

Look at the Sturmpanzer 6 Sturmtiger
It were armed with a huge gun and a thick Armor but it was as slow as a snail and needed a crane to load the ammunition and was pretty big. It was just a gun mounted on a box.

It was a really good tank destroyer yes, and, as far as I know, not as much of a cramped death-trap as the StuG III.

the German are never satisfied when they created a tank. they make five variations on every vehicle they made.

One of many of the reasons the Germans lost the War, along with Hitler taking a nap on June 6.

First class tank destroyer.
It was excellent at ambush.
Low profile made it hard to see and small to hit in return.
However it needed infantry support since it had no turret......its flanks were vulnerable.
Ground troops could swarm the tank sticking weapons in openings. Remember tanks in WW2 used openings to view out. Periscopes and armored glass were later developments. Most tanks used open ports with a metal cover one could close........but closed you could not see to drive or the commander to spot targets. The gunner had a sight but very limited field of view......it was for aiming not scanning.
You could have a really bad day if some chap stuck his Tommy gun in the viewport and emptied the magazine inside.
45cal slugs be bouncing all over.
This little Jag got her boys to cover her......but they be gone once those P47s, Typhoons, or IL2s rolling.
