I really love this... the colors are beautiful, and the design works nicely over the curves of the neck and collarbone (or so I imagine).

I simply adore this necklace. I love the colors and the way it hangs. Simply amazing. I agree with Koolaidmaid that you should post more about how you made it. Very nice work.

This is beautiful. Lovely work and time consumming hobby. The colors are magnificent. You should post a bit more about it though. Many don't know what kind of process you have to go through to make such a stunning necklace. Like the wire. I assume you linked all the beads with it. and burring every end of wire exposed. I have one I did a while back that my good freind tought me. I'll have to post it some time. I hope to see more of this in the near furture. A good ren fair would love to see work like this up for sale in a booth. It looks very medievil in style. Not many sell things of this callibur. You might contemplate it.

Thanks, I made this quite a while back, I'll have to remember all that was involved, hee. I do commission when I have time, but with my dance schedule I just don't produce enough to sell at faires, especially since I have this thing about making the same thing twice...though trying the ren faire circuit is definitely something on my to-do list for the future.
I would love to see the piece you speak of, I hope you do post it.
Thanks so much for your comments and input!

I'll have to post it in the next two days. I hand made the twisted wire but buring the tips of the wire just didn't work. I need a better burring tool. And I contemplated pounding the metal flat so the lacing meshes together and holds more secure. With sterling silver wire it set me back about $45.00 dollars.
