Thanks! I guess it was worth risking injury climbing up pretty high on a precarious spot.

I used to go climbing at this trail and others all the time, but after the injury I hadn't tested my foot and ankle on the trail for a long time. All was fine during and after, so I feel encouraged. ^^

LOL I've done that a few times... risk injury that is for a shot. But it's all worth it when you come out safe and the shot turns out great too!

That's great news! I haven't asked you about that lately. Shames on me. But it's good to know it's doing better!

^^ It's kind of like our "backyard" view. Of course, I have to drive out for 15 minutes from the residential area.

Of all the photos you took, I love this one the best. I think a lot of it has to do with the colors, but also the NAME in regards to the picture really stuck out at me - "Shard of the southwest" Perfectly suits this - WELL DONE!

LOL Thanks. I thought it was kind of clever of me, too. I've been to this location numerous times for aerobic workout (running up the steep trail) and casual strolls, and had this spot scoped out.

Thanks!! I was leaning sideways up on a rock about 8 feet up from the ground, so it was kind of scary, but it was worth it. ^^
