Description of drink:

As the Italian word Piccolo suggests, this drink is small but you shouldn't underestimate it. The genius of a Piccolo Latte is that this drink is based on a Ristretto shot of coffee. A Ristretto is an extraction of espresso that produces about 15-20mls of liquid. This is the best of the best when it comes to espresso extractions, smooth & full bodied yet misses out on the acidity that is apparent with longer extractions.
So to make our 'Small' Latte all that is required is one Ristretto shot of coffee, and approximately 100 ml of steamed and textured milk. These are served in a demitasse cup or glass usually due to their petite size.
Perfect if you want a little coffee hit after a meal, or you like to have many drinks throughout the day but a large milky drink each time is just a bit much.

First impressions are everything, right? At first sight Pico just seems like the kind of person who is just overall a bad person. And half of that might be true. He's bad-tempered and easily irritable-- heck, how are you supposed to make friends with someone like that? And when you talk to him you feel a little inferior despite his height...he's a little condescending. What a horrible person. He's the type to tell you that you've got a booger hanging out of your nose. Why does he have to be so blunt about it? Well...if you think about it, it's not like it's a bad thing; he could've laughed at you and let you go around with a booger hanging out. Well, first impressions aside, once you get to know him, he doesn't look as uptight as you think. He carries a conversation along pretty easily and is pretty casual about everything. He's observant, too. If you're bad at hiding your emotions he'll probably pick up on them right away. Sometimes he'll subtly try to help you out or make sure you're alright. Maybe he's got a patient and caring side; who knows? Maybe he's got a heart after all.

BIOGRAPHY

If Pico were to describe his life in one word, it'd just be "simple." Born into a stable upper-middle class family consisting of his Japanese father, Italian mother and younger brother, he didn't really have much to worry about. Of course, there was the occasional mishap here and there, but other than that, he would say that his life has been pretty good so far. He's been living comfortably, at least. Despite growing up in a balanced, loving family, Pico had always been very independent. There was the rare occasional moment where he would show his affection towards them, but other than those times, he'd find it a little embarrassing. His parents moderately encouraged the behavior that contrasted greatly with their own clingy behavior. Despite his independent personality, his parents would shower equal affection between him and his brother; his reluctance to show his caring side seemed quite charming to them after all.

Pico's independence carried on outside of the home, especially in school. Being smaller than everyone else made him want to feel just a little bit bigger, and doing things on his own would do just the trick. From maintaining his grades to ordering his own food at restaurants, he always liked to manage things by himself, even if someone else doing it would be so much easier. He didn't want people to worry too much about him, even though his self-reliant behavior would do just the opposite.
As Pico grew up and his schoolwork became more intense, he continued to independently maintain his high grades. Although he tended to excel in the majority of his studies, his science subjects often stood out the most from his bundle of academics. Somehow it all came to him quite easily and naturally he took an interest in the alchemical side of the umbrella. Of course, there came the time where he would have to stay up late, and a sip of coffee here and there would keep him awake long enough to last the day. From there he began to visit Tecafo Coffee after school to study a little and at the same time keep himself awake with their coffee.

After graduating high school and moving onto college to major in chemistry, the subject which he held most of his academic pride in, Pico decided that it'd be a good idea to get a part time job just for some extra cash. And with that, he turned to apply to Tecafo Coffee, the place that he kept in high regard for keeping him awake during his high school days.
