well ... a little of both .... with the deer shots at least. Both myself and my neighbour have been feeding them thru all this cold weather. The herd has beaten a path over the 1/4 mile between us .... lol. So the deer are getting quite tame and so quite close. Most of the time I am just lucky to get good shots of the rest with the exception of the Franklin Ground squirrels which naturally seem to be quite tame. I mostly use a 100~400 mm lens for the nature shots. You do know where I live though right? That alone gives me lots of photo ops.
