Device in old french and emblem (the cheetah) of the Visconti familly historical dukes of Milano (Italia) in 14th and 15th century. Original illumination composed on parchment and cardboard ,with details of medieval italian embroideries and in the famous book of hours of Gian Galazzo Visconti.[link]

How did you make the golden Letters?
Did you use some sort of gold foil which was glued to the parchement, or was it done with a modern paint?
