I've been really into masks lately - partly because I'm designing them for my race the Temporals, and partly because masks are cool. This is just a selection of some of the designs I've done so far. They're numbered for easy commenting! ^_^Related content

Oh my goodness, I have to say you've hit a soft spot for me, I love masks, especially looking at the designs of them, and I can imagine the Temporals being more frightening now that I've seen some of their masks. Your designs hold truer to the more aztec/inca culture, mine tend to be a lot stylised

Thanks, glad you like them! These are just roughs; I'm sure they'd have more detailing in a full, finished work - although I want to stick to simple outlines and features; the extra detail would just be carved designs.

Heh, yeah, #8 looks a bit freaked out. (He's somewhat based on Haida masks, and they all look like that.) Anyway, thanks for chiming in!
