That actually makes a lot of sense, I saw the makings of the video game Star Wars: Republic Commandos and they were given a crash course on military training even setup a studio area for them to practice the movements of actual military movements for their squad they would be making for the game. It's interesting to see how far people would go just make things feel authentic as possible.

To draw the art you must be the art! Or you must be Octamom who has her minions. That raises the question "Is Octamom despicable (me)?"

I wonder how Octadad got that on...

Maybe Fluttershy taught Octamum the stare. She would be unstoppable.

Couldn't she just ask Tavi to pose...?
Also from your description, does doing drawings of people 's poses in your lesson count? Done so anonymously, even tend to copy there haircuts.

Octavia's probably away at a concert, and no doubt Vinyl''s mysteriously disappeared.
Usually, when someone is asked to pose for some, they'll usually take a photo, then trace the outline of the body from the photo using a light box, then place all the appropriate clothing and props and character details on the figure to turn it into the character. In short, you'd never know any of the poses were performed by me unless I pointed them out.
It does indeed count as original art as long as the finished product bares no links to the original photograph bar the pose. It also applies to animation under the term of 'Rotoscope', which was used in animations such as The BFG and The Reign of Terror. Β

The Toy Story people actually did that? That's awesome! Can't say I've ever posed for something like that, though.

They did indeed. It's just like how Nick Park, the creator of Wallace and Gromit, spent ages prancing wildly around Aardman studios with a stopwatch as he tried to work out the leg movements for the Techno Trousers during the animation of The Wrong Trousers.

Wow. That's actually really cool! If you are questioning how someone would do something if something weird happened to them, I guess the best way would be to imitate it yourself!

Five minutes! I don't see how he could hold that pose for more than 30 seconds. Octadad has some serious strength! No wonder he beat the pro-racer bicyclists. Total respect.
