Sure but I must confess that it is really more than three. There were five things I learned in doing this one. I started to figure out: 1) a little bit on how the channel setting on Photoshop works (never tried using Channels before); 2) a slightly better technique on preparing a grayscale underpainting before laying on colours and lighting effects (using a green tinged greyscale); 3) a new tool in Artrage that allows me to actually manipulate and rotate the images easier; 4) a new lighting combination using this colour scheme; and 5) a different approach to tackling anatomical shapes like lips (by emulating an impasto effect).
