I really like how creepy all of these characters came out. I especially like the creepy monkey one based on those toy monkeys that would smash the symbols together. Those always creeped me out as a kid

Yeah I put the monkey in there specifically because I had one of those toys when I was a kid in the late 70's, and recently bought a vintage one in beautiful condition. I just love those things. If you want to be technical about it, the actual name of the cymbal crashing monkey toy is Jolly Chimp. Look it up, you can find vintage toy collectors selling them all the time on eBay.

I hate the one I have. I never liked it as a kid, it always creeped me out. I think it's still in the attic. Last I saw it the fur had rotted off it so it's just a bizarre looking robot/skeleton thing.Β
