Very rushed portrait of two sisters, using an array of pencils ... many of them now puny stubs.BUT HOORAY, one done, loads to do
I may feel guilty in the cold light of day and improve the hair a bit.

Thank you. When I say rushed, it was a tight deadline and I couldn't be as painstaking about detail. The hand with the flowers is a bit odd.

Quite understandable. Besides, to an artist, work pieces never seem quite finished, especially looking at them on a later date.

Phew! It's not in scraps. You had me worried for a moment. I do send a lot of stuff to scraps and it's possible that I might have put an earler WIP there.

detailed work - I luv how you did the shading on the face and hair esp the cheeks. really realistic. the only thing that bothers me is the right girl's hand. looks a bit odd and I can't tell what's she's holding.

Thank you. Yes, that was a bit awkward to draw. She was holding flowers. But in the photo that I used for reference, the only fingers I could see had bright light on them and no detail. I no longer have the drawing, so I can't put that right now. I didn't notice that it didn't look right at the time.

Did you copy this from a photograph or was this from your head? Either way it doesn't detract from your talent. I love pencil sketches. And I adore diversity! Excellent work!

The client gave me a damaged colour photo to work from. I converted it to b/w and enlarged it. I would have liked to have spent longer on it, but there was a tight deadline. Thank you very much for your comment.
