Description The United states from the Karlsreich timeline; ITTL Mexico is much stronger than in OTL and manages to hold on to it's territory in OTL Western United States. The United states decides to buy a large strip of land from British Controlled Canada, giving it access to the Pacific. This territory is currently in the process of becoming states, but there are some ideas on how this territory will be divided up. Quebec, a former Portuguese colony, gobbled up much of the land that we now know as New England before the British even established a foothold on the continent.

Yes, I actually looked into what tribes lived in these areas in order to come up with the names.

I wonder if Mexico would be significantly stronger with California.

Yes, ITTL, Mexico is much, much stronger, almost world power level. They interact with the Scandinavians a lot, Mexico used to be a Danish colony before the Spanish got their hands on it.
