When I did the Four Elements Series [link] Many friends suggested me to do some work to Dark and Light... Well, I can't add this in the Four Elements...so I'm doing this two powers in digital painting... Dark is the first...I hope you like

wow! another amazing piece.
great concept, posing nicely coordinated. i like the hidden kind of feeling from the flowing robes, but also how he looks poised and vigilant.
choice of colours is nice as usual. stony, but vaguely sweltering. i like the solid clouds and how they move from greyish to reddish. the gargoyle person makes me smile.
light and dark go very well together. perhaps the entire design - especially linking light with serenity/goodness and dark with evil - seems a bit "normal". well at least not completely fresh and thought-provoking. maybe you could do the opposite or something? just an idea.

well maybe you could deviate from certain stereotypical or clichΓ©d themes by presenting the opposite. or something fresh and unused at least. then it would be both pleasing to the eye and the mind.

i was thinking in color series....a work for blue, for green...well maybe it's a silly idea.

well it would be cool if you associated unusual topics or elements to the various colours. eg red being peaceful or something. or even a more concrete idea like sin or politics. i'd really look forward to something like that.

This has a great contrast to the light picture that you did. This one in particular in which the darkness flows off of this character has this effect as if the darkness were a claw and the light was just a gentle hand.
