I find his character so amazing for the same reasons as you. We know he has his own agenda, but will it be for good or bad? We're not sure. All we know is that he won't stop at nothing. As for your drawing, it is absolutely amazing.

This is turning out to be the best Star Trek since the original series, and this a brilliant depiction of both Lorca and the Discovery herself.

I adore DSC! I would have never thought anything on TV would ever be able to spark such deep feelings in me. I'm still a bit confused as to the "how?" - but it nevertheless is the case.

I know what you mean. I expected to not like it, and it is now my current favourite show. The innovative ideas, creative writing, engaging characters, great acting, amazing special effects, are all combining into something magical. Thanks for sharing your great art of it.

With me it was kind of vice versa. I was so hyped before the premiere (mainly because of the mentioning of an astromycologist, since I'm a trained plantphysiologist - not working in this field anymore, but my heart still is there), that I went into the first watching with the certainty that I only could be dissappointed since my excpectations were sky high. And I was surprised that I wasn't disappointed at all. And the episodes went even better. I adore the acting! The pace of the story is very fast, so there is little time for character development, but the actors are so good with their characaters that a few short scenes are sufficient to bring it. The casting was extremely well done.

ui, das ist aber wieder Super geworden! Besonders der Blick... bestens getroffen! Ich habe gestern Episode 6 gesehen, seitdem zittere ich etwas vor dem Captain. Ich war mir am Ende fast sicher das er den Admiral, der an Sareks Stelle wegfliegt in diesem Shuttle in die Luft sprengt... also selber aus dem Weg räumt. Rang und persönliche Beziehung hin oder her. Zum Glück kam es dann doch anders... denn das hätte ich schon heftig gefunden (aber irgendwie hatte ich das erwartet). Genau das fängt sein Blick hier für mich ein!

Yup, ich hatte gestern auch so meine Gänsehaut. Bislang fand ich Lorca sehr interessant - aber gestern war er mir zum ersten Mal sympathisch. Ich bin so gespannt, was für ein Spiel er - auch mit Burnham und Tyler - spielt.
Ich meine ... schon, dass er sich plötzlich hinter Regularien versteckt, statt Cornwell sofort zu Hilfe zu kommen, sagt ja alles. Das ist ein Psychopath und das macht den Charakter so spannend.

this is so awesome, you captured his likeness perfectly!! and all the colours look so pretty together. Lorca is really becoming one of my favourites even though more and more mystery is added to his character with each episode ....

#6 convinced me of him as well. I found his character interesting sofar, but the last episode found me actually liking him. He's a loose cannon!

Ooo Yay Lorca!
It's very realistic while still keeping that artistic flair to the brushwork and coloring. Lovely! Great detailing of the ship too. I got impatient with mine but you worked the detail of yours extremely well. It's been very interesting to see the color palettes you've been using for these. Great soothing color scheme.

(and to be honest ... I got impatient with the Discovery as well, that's why I blurred the background layer a bit
