So you know as usual people were questioning my lacking desire for children.And I was turning it over in my head and I suddenly came up with this little thing. My uterus is a no-fly zone! I don't want kids! Nothing is cleared for existing in there!

No one should ever get shit for not wanting to have children. While I laughed hysterically at the stamp, I stayed behind for the artist comments, and I commend you for both. You should do what you want to do, and it sounds as if you are going to do just that. Props to you.

I get shit about it all the time, so I tend to avoid the topic like the plague. The only people who haven't given me shit are the various psychologists/psychiatrists/therapists I've spoken with and happened to mention it to. They are completely supportive, and they would know if I'm being crazy!

Exactly. Sadly, even my health isn't a good enough excuse. My dad is particularly awful about it saying that a proper woman should want to die for her future children, so my health "is no excuse".

I don't think the children would be happy to know that their mother died because of them. Besides, it's easy for men who will never have to go through that to say such a thing.
Just take care of yourself and do what you want to do; it's your life and body.

It's horrible that people give you shit about not wanting to have children. People really seem to think our wombs are not our own. My motivation for not having kids is also related to staying alive. I have intense dysphoria. I would rather kill myself than have a child.

It's not even just about survival for me. My health is a reason, sure, but I plain don't want to give birth, ever. I don't like kids, either. I never wanted to be a mother, I've been wanting sterilization since I was young enough to understand "fixing" cats.

Yeah, that's also fine. Not liking kids is something we can agree on too, I am definitely not a child-friendly person and just plain don't want kids ever. Not from my own insides and not adopted either.

Crushing the vas deferens (a vasectomy) can fix that. After a certain period of time, a few years I believe, sperm cells are insufficient for reproduction because your testicles stops producing for the purpose of movement, so they don't.
