Description Well, after six hours of labor in Photoshop, this is the end result.
I think it turned out fairly well.


Five years after the events of "Radiant Dawn," Ike is still a humble, honorable mercenary who protects the weak and helps maintain order in Crimea. He also secretly shares a ... less-than-politically-correct ... love with Queen Elincia. But when darkness and death threaten to envelop the world, Ike is asked by his beloved Queen to take up his sword to bring light and goodness back to Tellius.

And so Ike straps both Ragnell and Alondite to his back, dusts off his armor, and strides forth to defeat the evil that threatens his home, his family, and his true love.

... Or something like that.

I love how you gave him the dual blades. What I think would have been awesome though, is if he were allowed to wield them both in Radiant Dawn after defeating the Black Knight. Kind of like how they said Altina wielded both of them.

Thanks, glad you like! I'm actually writing a fanfic of a sequel to Radiant Dawn where Ike and Elincia fall in love and Ike actually does use both blades to save her from evil.

Somebody is going to die. No evildoer's going to stand in this guy's way. We saw how overpowered he is in Brawl, it gets even worse for enemies on Tellius!

I love this pic, and I'm intrigued by your description. Does that mean this pic is a precursor to a web comic or a fic based on the premise you just presented? I'm interested, particularly since I'm a sucker for Ike+Elincia. On a side note though, I don't think 'politically correct' is the correct term. But, then again, this is coming from a guy who considers 'political correctness' and 'stupidity' to be all but synonomous so, on those grounds, maybe you could swing it. It might be worth considering to replace 'He also secretly shares a ... less-than-politically-correct ... love with Queen Elincia.' with either 'He also shares a secret love...one that crosses an impossible gulf of birth and class...with Queen Elincia' or 'He also shares a secret...and forbidden...love with Queen Elincia.'
In any case, please let me know if this is going to evolve into some sort of project and catch you later.

With a little luck and lot of effort, I think this just might turn into a fanfic. I've always wanted to try my hand at writing a Fire Emblem story, since I've had so many ideas over the years of how I would make things different.

It probably won't take off until summer break, but I'm definitely gonna keep it near the front of my to-do list.

As for political correctness, we're in complete agreement on it's synonym(s).

Well, this means I've either met a fellow fictomancer , a fellow Fire Emblem fan , a fellow Conservative or a fellow all-of-the-above . Whatever the case, this is very, very good. If I may make a couple of suggestions. First, type up your ideas and put them somewhere easy to find on you computer so that you have them ready when you start writing. Second, please consider taking me on as a co-writer. I do quite a bit of looking over other peoples' fiction and making edits and additions as needed and I can brainstorm such things as events and outlines too. Well, please let me know if this souns good and I look forward to reading your story. Catch you later.

I don't know how to say this but...it's just cool. 8)

One thing: I think it would look better if Ike's left leg is placed on the ground. It would look like he's slowly, calmly walking forward.
