shocked huh?
thought so.
there's only a few things i'm satisfied with
regarding this piece.
frankly i just didn't know when to quit.
*sigh*
maybe one day i'll do the maxx justice.
until that day arrives,...it's a helluva lot of fun trying.

Interesting piece. It's always good to see an artist do something very different from his norm and take risks. It is the purist expression of art. It is the equivalent of "Dance like no one is watching" Β - create a piece of art as though no one else will ever see it. Pure freedom of expression. Bravo!

You're welcome! I always maintain that "busy" isn't a bad thing, as long as it works for the image and (like here) the colors tie everything together nicely into an easily readable image. "Good" busy keeps the eye moving, but doesn't confuse it. Also, it's The Maxx, so it should melt your face at least a little bit.

I'm afraid you can't make that estimation. Of the two of us, only I can determine my own mind and my mind tells me you've made a good use of color here. It's got a classic feel to it and would look good anyway you could distribute it - magazine cover, poster, t-shirt.
