Better Explorer 2.0.0.531 Alpha
This is completely new redesigned version of Better Explorer. It aims to make look and feel to Windows 8 Explorer with some additional features.
It works only on Windows 7 (probably in Vista but not tested)
To make it fully work don't forget to install .Net Framework 4.0 Full and Visual C++ 10.0 redistributable package.

Amazing ribbon & look, but it's SO SLOW and unresponsive

Man, Its Amazing the ribbon with Office 2010 feel, is so much better than the win 8 version
But, with Aero Glass ( brings aero back to win 8\8.1) the nav bar stays completely transparent , can you add some blur to it( and a option to customize it) ? to match the ribbon.
And for people with custom themes , can you add the option to use the same icons of the theme to the navigation bar? i use a Longhorn one and the Better Explorer uses Win Vista\Seven
And many of the panels options crashes when i change them
AND THE MOST IMPORTANTE. DO YOU GUYS KNOW ABOUT A PROGRAM CALLED CLOVER??? IT ADD TABS TO EXPLORER LIKE GOOGLE CHROME, ITS MUCHE EASIER AND BEAUTIFUL , CAN U IMPLEMENT THIS??
Also remove the better explorer name on the top (an option maybe), on long folder names it disturbs

Would be nice if it followed the changes made to explorerframe.dll via visual styles, to keep the look more integrated into customized systems. Otherwise this is a fantastic tool.

there are too many objects in the Better Explorer window and it makes me feel it is too heavy to move. It sucks because the location of "Back, forward, up, search and ribbon" is so terrible. I think you cannot understand what I say because it is too difficult to describe how bad is Better Explorer.

what are parameters of your PC? This version in written in WPF so it require directx 9 compatible Video card. Also i know the resize of the window is slow for now. But navigation and anything else should be like normal explorer!

It's pretty much only the resize of the window I was talking about here to be honest. Everything else seems to be okay. My graphics card is definitely directx 9 compatible since it's a nvidia gt220

It works on Vista, 64 bit. However, its impossible to navigate to any folder. And you can change tabs but it's slow. No menus seem to be working either.

Thanks for the test man! For me will be very dificult to fix it on Vista....... since i dont have one. If you could test on 32bit will be great! So i guess 64bit instruction is the problem here.

I don't have 32 bit you'll have to find someone else for that. You may not even want to bother with Vista anyways, since Microsoft it will be obsolete with the release of Windows 8.
