Acheron's symbol, a design based on a creation of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter world.Things belonging to Ash, in the books, have a mark on them :
"a yellow sun that was pierced by three white lightning bolts"
Sherrilyn then made an official design for this - you can see it here: [link]
But I don't like it. I don't think its very clear, and the lines aren't very clean. That's just my personal opinion. And I don't think it makes a good tattoo, which it is used as in the books.
So ... I played around and made up my own version.
It's already been taken for use by someone as a tattoo, so it's off the market, I'm afraid.

I just wanted to tell you that while the symbol is used on the book centered on Acheron, if you read the book closely, it says the symbol is that of his mother, Apollymi. Acheron's symbol is the one used by the Dark-Hunters. The double bow and arrow. I have both tattoos.
No worries. I had to read the book like 3 times to get it. Got confused hearing it called her's in research when I thought it was his too.

I love your design and I do think it looks a bit better than the one on the book. I love this series. I'm eager to see what else Kenyon comes up with!

No offense...your rendition is wonderful and everything...but I just prefer the official version that appears on the cover of the book. I find the design wholly unique and just absolutely enchanting, plus I think the lines are quite clear, at least on the book. The version you have a link to is rather ugly though...very hard on the eyes.

Its a good take on the original and honestly i like the original more but i do believe and I could be wrong and have to reread the entire thing all 700+ but i do believe when Apollymi creates acheron's symbol the sun is actually red and black.

Yeah. I like your version a lot better than the original. I just have something against all these computer and 3D things. But that's just my personal opinion.
