me too. i havent found a good 64 strand braid yet. but most of the standard braids i can do. i also love how the look shifts depending on the type of string you use

Cool! I've used embroidery cotton thread so far (Mouline Special). Do you have any other thread recommendations that you think I should try?

Thanks! I'll try and be adventurous! So far I've started to split down the thread I've been using for thinner cords with more delicate patterns - plus the thinner thread lets me combine the braiding with beads, which looks pretty cool!

Thanks so much! The seed-bead bail is a really easy way to attach something larger like a focal bead, because it can pick up on the colors and seems to be a nice counterweight to the size of the larger bead.
