Description Alternative plot for Europe at the end of the First World War

Map of Europe as of March 1938. The end of World War I was marked by the victory of the Entente and the failure of the Bolshevik coup in Russia. As a result, new states appear on the map of Europe, which were earlier part of the Russian and Austro-Hungarian empires.

- Having ended the war by defeating and signing the Peace of Versailles, the German Empire is liquidated, on the ruins of which the Weimar Republic stands, which ultimately transfers a number of territories to neighboring states and pays contribution to the Entente. In this position, various political and militarist formations are being created on the territory of Germany, which are hostile against each other, trying to break through to power. But in 1932 a turning point happened and the Nazi Party headed by A. Hitler came to power in Germany. The Third Reich was proclaimed. In 1938 the Anschluss of Austria took place.
- Being the winner in the war, the Russian Empire could not avoid the collapse and the formation of new states on it. After the defeat of the Bolsheviks in the civil war of 1917-1922. democratic power was established in Russia through military intervention by the forces of the Entente and the Central Powers, which were located in: Ukraine, Belarus, the Caucasus, the Baltic countries. Thanks to the allies, Russia once again restored its economic potential and the army while recognizing the independence of a number of territories belonging to it.
- On the ruins of the Russian Empire, new states appeared, such as the Russian Republic, the UPR, the BPR, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Armenia. Azerbaijan, North Caucasus Emirate, Poland. All are economically dependent on the UK and France.
- In the 1920s, a conflict between the CCU and the authorities was noticed in the UPR. In 1929, the liberal regime was overthrown, E. Konovalets came to power.
- Having received independence in 1918, the Czechoslovak Republic was created. But a number of dissatisfaction with the national little tirres, namely, the Slovaks and Germans, led to the direct federalization of Czechoslovakia.
- By signing the Treaty of Trianon, Hungary entered only Slovakia, Transcarpathia, the southern part of Transylvania, Burgenland, Croatia, while maintaining ethnic territories.
- In 1922 Ireland received nominal independence from Great Britain in the form of a dominion. In 1937, with the help of smuggled German weapons, the Irish island was completely liberated.
- Subsequently, the Spanish Civil War in 1936-1939, the power in Spain was left to the Republicans. Catalonia, Basque, gained independence.
- In 1939, a coalition of the Axis was created - a military bloc founded by the Third Reich, the Kingdom of Italy and the Japanese Empire. Later, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Thailand, Finland, Ireland, and Slovakia join the bloc. A new storm is coming.
