Origin:
Rick was once a psychopathic scientist who created a special chemical that could melt anything it touches. When Rick laboratory was found by the Superhero Gemstone Rick attempted to use his new chemical on Gemstone. However during the struggle Rick fell into a vat of his new chemical. The chemical melted away parts of his body leaving him deformed. During his time in the hospital he grew a hatred for Gemstone. Later Maxwell Lord found out about Rick's condition and gave Rick a experimental suit with cybernetic attachments. Rick soon turned to a life of crime and became the Criminal Meltdown.
