An energetic, generally friendly, slightly anxious person given to fits of dramatics and flights of fancy. Work-related acting aside, Monty is transparent: they tend towards honesty and simplicity with a little wiggle room for tact. They likewise want the same from others--they have a little trouble picking up on subtlety. When seized by a moment, they don't always think things through; in a related vein, they have a tendency to jump to conclusions. Monty is the sort who deals with obstacles by reacting in the most overblown way possible, though they will always recover and carry on at some point. History
As one of several children and spare heirs for a well-to-do family, Monty was free to pursue their own interests as long as they behaved themselves. Though they dabbled in more 'practical' professions, they were drawn to the performing arts--particularly theatre and dance. In time, they took to the road as part of a troupe and found themselves on a wild ride: it broadened their horizons considerably and they did have fun times, but there were moments of drama (outside of work, though not necessarily unrelated) that eventually outweighed the benefits of sticking with the group. In a bid to go anywhere, anywhere as long as they were free of it, Monty joined a passing caravan to Soul Dew Valley. They don't know much at all about farm life, but live and learn, right? New beginnings, new experiences!
