Bell is often going about daily life with their head in the clouds. They flit about from one thing to the next all too easily, sometimes leaving tasks unfinished and forgetting about them entirely. This tends to cause trouble for them and the people around them, but despite this they are hard to discourage. They like to look on the bright side of every situation and are rarely found in an irritable mood. They hold an acute adoration for life’s happy little miracles, and seek to share them with others as well. Caring and trusting come easily, however understanding consequences does not. Trial and error; they are still young, still learning.

History
Bell was born and raised in an eastern coastal city called Orbis as the youngest child of two prominent crystalmancers. Their mother is an advisor, diligently working to prevent overmining the soul dew keeping half of the city floating in the sky around the mountain; their father, a teacher, providing the rising generation with as much knowledge regarding soul dew as he could. Unfortunately, unlike their siblings, Bell never did grow to show any aptitude for crystalmancy, nor did they have an interest in it. As the youngest though, it was never a firm expectation that they take up the family mantle, especially with their oldest sibling having already become a full fledged crystalmancer.

Without their parents really pushing them towards one thing or another, Bell began to tentatively drabble in baking. Communication remained rare and somewhat limited between Bell and their parents, and most of it ended up being done through the exchange of the various sweets Bell made for them. It gave them great joy to know that the sweets they created made others - including their distant parents - happy.

One day, when running a few errands, Bell was approached by a stranger speaking of a new town called Lunamere. Without really understanding what the spokesperson was saying, Bell smiled and agreed. Seeing places outside of Orbis would be nice, they decided. They signed their name down on a list of volunteers of pokemon moving to the town. They told their friends Jay and Dove and the trio - luckily of the same mind - all ended up agreeing to go. Bell's parents, thinking this was a very thought through and sound decision, gave them their blessing to move. Their youngest was finally leaving the nest... They were so proud, but little did they know that Bell's decision had been on a whim, a fancy to see new sights. Navigating through adulthood in a new town would be more adventure than Bell bargained for.
