Lovely image; I especially enjoy the tactile feeling of the skin around the eyes. Very cool.
For your, eh, 'fugly' problem, I think the issue is her nose. The vertical line going down the center of her face is not at a 90 degree angle to the horizontal line. Basically her nose is slanting to the right. If you flip the image, it should be easier for you to see. If you're using Photoshop, just select the face with the freehand lasso, use Transform > Warp and pull the chin towards the center of the image a tad.

You're definitely right about that, I can see it now! I think that I just needed to take a break with this one, now that I go back to it the problems are so much clearer! Thanks!

The eyes are fantastic, but I also like the little crooked smile. ^_^

I like the off set of it. I'm tired of seeing things always so perfect. You know what I mean? Personally not every human being is going to have a face of perfection. I like the idea of an elf not being perfect; it puts reality straight through the core of fantasy. I like the detail of this, the bee, the butterfly, and the ivy lace around her neck. It's stunning!

That's true, practice make perfect, or atleast practice makes the road to perfection a little shorter...

Yeah, I think I need to scetch more... That's what my goal is, practice figure drawing more, so no more extra long necks and funny positioned bodies....

Yeah, I start with the skeleton, but I think what I do that's a no-no is really getting into the details of the face before I properly lay it out, so sometimes things go a little wonky, because I haven't properly layed everything out!
