really beautiful i love your style!
dad told me that my grandmother or great grandmother (not sure) herded sheep up in the mountains once, when one day a lone musk ox just joined her and the herd.. musk ox are usually dangerous to approach, but she got to gather hair from him all summer, and i think that hair still excist somewhere around (hidden on an old attic or soemthing like that x) i think that's really cool. I've never seen a real life wild musk ox, but i've patted a baby one, he had only the size of a small/medium sized dog he was orphaned when his mom was shot by accident, and my family and i was by chanse staying for the weekend with the man who was taking care of him before he would be sent to sweden to a park where he could be with more musk oxes and in an environment that was more suited for him

That is so neat! I've seen musk ox in person before but I've never touched one or been that close. I'd love to have a few of them someday, if I can locate them to start a herd.

Yes, the little musk calf was really so adorable!
and later, i saw him on swedish tv; he'd gotten so much bigger! he was the size of a pony then
I'm so happy that he got to grow up as close to as in the nature as he could ^^
(after all, they couldn't let him loose, as he didn't know how to take care of himself)
but wow.. you could really own a musk ox if you wanted? : O i don't think that's legal over here, hehe

You can own most hoof stock here, if you want to. I've seen rhinos and giraffes for sale, if you could afford them. But there's a lot of land and most of those animals do really well if you have the right space/set up for them.

wow, that's incredible
i've heard that you can own wild animals like tigers and stuff over in america,
but do you have to have a sort of license for owning large animals like that (and also large hooved animals like the giraffes you talk of)?
i don't know much about it, but i think you can't own any wild (or endangered) animals in norway, and i think you need a license (or search for permission) to own even a llama (llamas are quite popular for example to keep herds of sheep company)

Here it depends state to state what the laws are. Some states ban all exotic species, some require licenses, some don't even have that. America, as far as countries go, is very lax when exotic animal ownership is concerned. I think it's partly due to our large size (spacewise) and the fierce individualistic attitude that drives our legislation. I know people in other countries that are similar to what you're mentioning - it can be difficult if not impossible to keep most animals outside of a fully fledged zoo.
