Whoa... how have I missed how retardedly dA has been categorizing things? O_o?Anyway, this is my gift art for girlwhowalkdthrutime, who was my 100 watcher. Which was uber spiffy and whatnot, I thought.
I hope that it is acceptable...I think that it's just a sign of how late it is and how long I've been awake that I'm starting to find this picture really funny. In my head, it's something like --
Rin: ZOMG yeey! Look, a firefly!
Sesshoumaru: ... No crap, you don't say. Because we're not like surrounded by a thousand other ones or anything.

Hair has always been one of my favorite things to draw, so perhaps I give it a little more attention than other things (which I really shouldn't do but gaaaah it's hard). I'm glad the effort is apparently worth it though!

I just got home from a very loooong day, and I'm so glad I checked DA so I could see this.
It looks even more awesome in color. Those two are such polar opposites of one another, it's hilarious. I can see Rin exclaiming at the butterflies and Sesshoumaru is all "do as you wish". And you have no reason to feel bad about him appearing dispassionate...he's not exactly the most expressive of beings and even when he smiles it's never a good thing. A wonderful job, I'm glad I was your 100th watcher.

Hahaha, before I clicked "parent" button, I thought you were talking about Zutara for a sec. I don't even recall if we've discussed Avatar shipping (I'm equal-parts Kataang and Zutara), but my fic is eventually going to wind up with Zutara. So I know exactly what you mean, about being able to explore things that won't ever really happen on the show itself - da's what I love so much about AUs.
If he were to love anyone, it would be Rin, I think.

Haha, well, I can understand why! I don't believe we have discussed Avatar shipping, either... although it's not something I really think too much about, actually. Then again, it generally takes me a while to sink into things like that.... I believe it was around a year or so before I started the S/R shipdom. And that was an awkward process, let me tell you. XD
Well, so long as you support both those ships, that's gooood. Sometimes the hardcore Zutara people ... frighten me. There seem to be a lot that are pretty much convinced that it'll happen fo sho, and foam at the mouth when people say otherwise. Although, that sort of reaction is amusing. Kind of reminds me of some of the PotO stuff, and all the EC people who growl at the mere mention of Raoul. *laughs* Still, it's nice when people are realistic in their views, since, obviously, you can still have fun with them regardless!
Anywho... since you don't seem at all disturbed by S/R... would you mind reading one of my fics? *puppy eyes* I would really love getting your opinion on a sample of my writing that is a little longer. All the ones I have posted are finished, and the longest is 7 chapters, so I don't think it would be too taxing, timewise. Still, if you're super busy (which holy crap, I would totally understand), you definitely don't have to. If you feel up to it, I'll give you a link to my ff.net page.

Sadly, I'm a freak and would probably do none of those things. *laughs* I thankfully do not have to pay for college because of scholarships, so I would probably invest the million somehow and finish my undergraduate work. Might not do the whole psych/pre-med stuff, though. Probably would focus more on English and stuff. I can't even imagine how awesome that would be. XD
Although, having a mansion in the Bahamas does not sound so horrid....
