Okay, y'all know I'm not particular to insects but this was too amazing to pass up, it was outside my guard trailer where I work a couple mornings ago so I took a few shots. I even picked it up and relocated it when a truck got too close to it..that's worthy of at least a pat on the back...Related content

Ive actually never seen one before in person, but I've always admired the photos I've seen of them. This is especially a good picture of it, nice clean view of its wings and patterns.

They are such big.....bugs.....as you read I'm a bug hater but this one was pretty enough to escape the bug category just by that much...thanks too for the fave, much appreciated!

I love these things, they're so beautiful. We had one on a tree outside our house for a week or so, I don't know why - it never moved, but it was alive..at least until the bratty neighbors decided to play with it >_<

haha, thanks :] it's not a big deal for me though, I was horrified at first but it's actually pretty chill. Tomorrow we get to order chinese for lunch and watch movies all day :] I don't know how I could have committed myself to all this if it wasn't for my boyfriend though, we're celebrating our two year anniversary on Saturday, he's not once lost faith in me.
