Hello folks! Time for yet another of our shiny uploads. This time I took the advice of and tried my hand at a Malachite! I have gone for the cut and polished version of the stone, although the natural formations are wonderful to behold too. I have kept the background scheme from my previous crystal, as it seems that it helps the shinies stand out a little bit more than when they were just floating in darkness.For the newcomers - I used to paint gems/crystals/minerals as an exercise to clear my head, but it has since become a passion of mine. If you have any suggestions about gemstones, minerals or crystals you would like me to try and paint, please do share! I still have a couple written up, but the supply is ever dwindling.

Thank you! I'm really happy that you like it. When I painted these gemstone pieces,
I tried to get them as close to photo as possible. It was fun to insert my own piece among reference
gemstones, and then show it to a couple of friends and made them guess which one is the painted piece

this is actually fantastic! you pulled it off wonderfully, and painted the Malachite's stripes so naturally i would have never guessed it was painted until you said so! your work is absolutely fantastic!
