Description Here is another page of my life drawing sketchbook. These are referenced from a book called "Portraits", which is a collection of national geographic photography by Steve McCurry. I'd suggest it to anyone looking for inspiration on portrait art, as its full of very diverse portraits of all kinds of different people.

I'm gonna have to sketch more. I just wish I had more time to do things similar to yours. I think the detailing of each sketch is wonderful. Even that of the Dali Lama.

Haha I was only able to have that much time to sketch because it was homework I'd have to give up sleep to be practicing like that now!

Thanks much!! Talent is useless however without hours upon hours of sitting on your butt and working a drawing to death... haha I guess I have some unresolved pencil issues

oh my, its amazing what some people can do with a pencil! im impressed, you dont see very many artists who choose to use pencils!

First of all, thank you! Second of all, you are very right about pencil art becoming scarce...personally, I have like permanant eye strain from pencil work, but I don't think thats the reason for its decline...In fact, I think I'll blame computers for both the eye strain and the lack of pencil drawings people are doing! Thanks again for the encouragement.

many people are using photoshop and psp and all those fancy programs, mind you i use them as well for basic colouring, but my medium of choice is definately the pencil! mechanical .5mm i love your shading and detail, its simply amazing whats possible!! gives me motivation to keep practicing!
