Description A watercolor and ink illustration for a story for conceptual storytelling class, dedicated to those hardworking cowgirls battling day and night to keep us safe from giant scorpions, sandworms, spiders and the like... although it turned out a bit jumbled from trying to fit alot in, i felt it did justice to the girl's personalities.

Hey you finally put it up. Looks great. My only complaint is you kind of lose the girl on the right since so much is going on. Nice work again chris

Agreed, I brought it into photoshop and was messing around with it trying to make that area stand out more against the background, but nothin really looked natural...the changes kinda stood out too much, making it obvious that I was trying to fix something that was just outta control to begin with

There is quite a bit going on in this piccy.. But the coloring is marvellous! You definately have a wonderful attention to detail and there's so much action and movement going on in this one.. Very nice!

Thanks!! If there is one thing that was productive about this for me, it was stepping out of some coloring comfort zones...I usually just try and play it safe with color 'cause I'm always afraid I'm gonna overdo it (thats definitely not hard to do with watercolors) but I mixed alot of stuff together right on the paper and took some risks...I deffinitely need to take more risks!

Nice watercoloring job you did there... I think it was a perfect choice of medium for sand scape scenery. The ink is very discrete, wich is nice.
Though it's a bit true what you said about the jumble (I had to stop and analyse to figure out what went where... ).
Very dynamic drawing!!!! I approve!

Thanks much for the approval I always consider any picture to be a form of storytelling, but I guess sometimes I try to say too much and get my twords wisted..err words twisted
