Applies to general hate stuff on the internett :3Some people have been asking me a lot how I deal with some of the weird things I come across at times, xD its not that hard actually, but I have made a thingy.
You dont have to agree with some of these and that is fine, but they do tend to help a lot.
Hope it helps someone have a less bothersome experience with people on ze interwebs.

The best way to block trolls is to ignore them and make use of the time you think of wasting on responding on making more productive things.

I like this, I came across an artist insulting and trolling viewers in the comments section, a fairly well known artist at that and even though they were responding to negative comments, I really do think that it's best just to not say anything at all in many situations. Be and adult and remain professional

I do agree that ignoring them and simply "forgetting" them is often the only solution for trolls and such, since there might be people who don't have time to deal with them. (Because for example, they have other things to do with friends, family, other jobs, etc. or other things on their mind. C: )
I just seem to sometimes have trouble ignoring it, since my memory tends to stash stuff that I don't want to remember, or even have a remnant of. But it happens, and sometimes I just get mad suddenly.

It Β can be hard to forget things, but if your mindset is set on not taking it to close to you you will still remember the argument or the bad situation but you will slowly forget what was said in it

TOTAL respect that you can just ignore haters, man. It's like, I write stories on an ff.net account, and it's a pretty low-key thing, nothing particularly popular about it, although it does have a following. And sometimes, I get these haters who just cuss at me and diss my writing style, and of course, I try to tell myself to ignore it, but it really gets to me, you know? - how I pour in my soul into my story, but then some anonymous reader just hates on it for no good reason. Of course, it just bugs me for a short couple of days before I'm good again! That being said, seeing how you're real popular here, you must like, tons of those weird haters!! So honestly, that you can just "ignore :3" things is more amazing than most people can appreciate!Β Β

Text is always hard to read via emotion. I find it's better to either cautiously ask the other person for clarification (esp. if they're known to be facetious), ignore them if it's an obvious troll comment.
It's like driving. You treat everybody else on the road as if they're complete idiots or assholes and be cautious no matter what, but sometimes you will wind up in accidents or near accidents and you learn from it.

The thing is, I'm surprised at how many people don't know these simple facts. True, there are people of varying ages and maturity levels in the world, but most of these are just common sense (which had gone extinct). Especially this type of stuff: "They don't like what I like! They suck!" That burns me up (for a nanosecond) and then I move on. XD

"misconstrued" would be the past-tense, meaning you or someone else was misconstrued and no longer are. u v u

Misconstrue would be the word to use I think. Since you aren't using past tense for your explanation that would make the most sense.
As for the other person, if they refuse to understand your explanation and get butthurt over the smallest of comments then you shouldn't waste your time with it. This is the internet, they should be used to dealing with dumbass comments even from the smart ones and should be asking for clarification than going all out.

Yeah, but I WASN'T being a dumbass even if I DID ask a question that's already been answered, and it still hurts.Β It's just there's so much information I can read from a long-written artist comment when I'm on a time constraint AND the fonts are pathetically tiny (believe me, I tried to fix that, but Firefox's a bit of a dork in that department 
And it hurts even more when it's from a person who is either popular or whom I've watched before; I mean, they have no right to be cross like that, but I wouldn't mind a LITTLE creativity in pointing out how I've screwed up on my part, which I have experienced before and am grateful for that approach.

Doesn't have anything on here on how what to do when someone decides to misconstrued what you say and make it like you're the jerk.Β How do you deal with that?Β Because no matter how hard I try to explain myself, they either think I'm an idiot or something and they act all bitchy towards you over it.Β I mean I know I should ignore them like my mother says, but most of them happen to be the populars whose works I happen to like, and it really kind of bums me out to the point that I'm afraid of asking ANY questions or making a playful, sarcastic comment.Β Plus, I'm not as thick-skinned as I thought I would be at this point, nearly ten years on DA.Β Oh, it's there, alright, it's just not tough enough...

There are two types of main people in this cathegory that I have seen, its the person who will no matter what find all the flawes because they want to win/be right, and then there is the person who just do not understand someone elses way of seeing something and just needs to be explained maybe simpler, ask them for specifics and what it is they do not understand and rewrite it if you have to.
For those who will no matter what make you into a jerk, just ignore them, there is no point in trying to change them since they are hard set on making you look bad even if you arent. You cant do anything but stop replying to them, because they will not stop believe me.
People who cant take sarcasm is none of your fault xD if they get angry over sarcasm, let them , laugh and move on. If they ask you for specifics about the sarcasm or are confused but not jerks you can always explain it was sarcasm.
