tbh it doesn't really rack my conscience that a women, who should have the right to choose if she gives birth or not (which, in case you didn't know, is a huge and painful ordeal), can willingly let a half-formed mass be disposed of BEFORE it has the ability to feel emotion or even have a sense of what's going on around it. Killing a conscious baby, that's cruelty. Killing a fetus is not.
Nevertheless, if a woman has allowed her pregnancy to be taken to the last couple of months before birth, than I doubt she really wants an abortion anyway, and that's when a fetus is most developed and has the most brainpower compared to its previous stages. Before that, it's mostly just a blob of cells with a still forming brain.
