This is a collection of my favorite drawings from 1994. Many of them were not dated, so some may have been made in another year. I feel like they all fit together, and have a feeling the placement is accurate.

These are a small selection of the many pieces of art I drew back in 1994, when I was eight. I had recently dug through a box of memories my mom had kept for me, and I will be bringing you the works I feel were the best and most defining.

As you will see, 1994 was a year where Super Mario Brothers 3, Sonic the Hedgehog, Marvel Comics, and Jurrassic Park were heavy influences.

From left to right, we have;

Row 1: The video game row.
Three strips on which I drew SMB3 and Sonic baddies, possibly drawn without reference. Two sheets of ruled paper that feature Robotnik and some Bots from the early Archie Comics, also on there are some things drawn without reference, including Mario, Goro, and others. Lastly we have a Buzzbomber from Sonic, likely drawn with a reference.

Row 2: The Darkhawk row.
Four original characters drawn from scratch, inspired by Marvel's Darkhawk character. The one on the left is the first one I made and the best one. On the back of each of these pages, I drew little pictures depicting each character's basic and special attacks. They're not very interesting, so I didn't bother scanning them in.

Row 3: The toys row.
Dogs dressed up as Marvel characters. I owned most of the Marvel toys, and the charcacters here were some of my favorite toys. That's likely the reason I chose these characters for the dogs to dress up in. Thinking back, I think someone in class drew a dog, and I learnt from them how to draw it in their style, so I then added a bunch of marvel stuff. I think. Ahem. The Jurassic Park pic is next, and may have been drawn from a reference, as I did own some toys like that at the time.
