Description Made on July 10th and edited to this over the next few days, it was intended for a game project that never got off the ground. The person who started the project wasn't that good at spriting, and wasn't very committed to the project.

The style of the project is rooted in the style of the 8 bit gameboy color game DBZ LSW, though size restrictions were ignored.

I think it's pretty good. If the project had been continued well, I might have made a full sprite sheet for this.

Very impressive sprite you got here. Some of the spikes on his shell look weird but the rest is very good.

Nice pose as well. Would have added to the difficulty of the sprite. Good job.

Glad you like the general look of it! I, too, think the green isn't a very good color. If I ever choose to make revisions to this, I'll look through the palette for some better colors. Thanks for the crit

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between 8 bit and whatever other pixelart there is?

Plus, shubbery-green Bowser owns all of my socks.

I could always be wrong, but how I've been using the term "8 bit" is to describe pixel art that fits under the limitations of early game systems. NES, Gameboy, GBC, and Sega Master System are all 8 bit systems, I believe. In all of them (I think), the tiles that make up the game's graphics can contain at most 4 colors. And so, almost all character sprites will use only four colors, including a 'color' that acts as transparency.

In bowser, I've got the near black color for his outline and shadow, the green for his shell and skin, and the light color for his face and horns. The fourth color is the background which, were this used in a game, would be invisible, allowing the other background images or colors through. That's how I understand it, at least.

Sorry for the wall of text.

Glad you like my Bowser

Whoa. That's pretty sweet. I kind of like the idea of having to fit a creative work into such certain boundaries.

And, worry not thy head. I enjoy textwalls.
