Description
A dedication to one of the best friends I ever had. Joxer will always hold a place in my heart, and the world is an emptier place without him.Joxer was lucky to have 2 families that loved him. I had him for about 7 years before I had to adopt him out due to life circumstances. I have not had one day where I did not think of him. He was well loved and cared for by his adopted mommy as well.

This is a completely new style for me, I really wanted to do a painted look, and not perfect. I don't know why, that's just what the picture asked for.

I definitely bond with my cats. Not so much dogs though. I like dogs alright, but cats are just so....wonderful, smart, soft, and nothing sounds better than a purr when you are trying to sleep.

Beautiful work. This new technique you have used here is perfect for the subject - a great memorial piece. I hope you get a copy printed, framed, and kept somewhere special. You really have surpassed yourself with this one.

Funny thing, I used the same brush for everything, just rescaled it as needed. It was just one of those works where you start, and then zone on it until it's finished, with no plan of how you are going to postwork it.
