This is another experiment with hooking some of the top wires back into the half round wire of the base, similar to this chrysocolla pendant . This labradorite is quite a different stone, though, so it asked for quite a different wrap. I used argentium sterling silver for the square wire, and gold filled half round wire, since the stone is happy with either.This labradorite stone has a strong golden/green shine to it, and dark streaks through the interior that make the shine stand out that much more. I have a few more pieces of lab to wrap that have similar streaks, and some that just shine. Can you tell it's one of my favorite stones?

I like this technique. I think it works especially well with the gold on silver wrap. Beautiful, unusual laboradorite. I love finding these in colors other than blue.
