.....when the world is ending.I would say it is a speed paint, but it's not really since I spent a bit of time on it. So.... painting with a loose technique.
It was originally a bit larger in scale, but I cropped it down to a section that I liked. The costumes turned out a little generic to me, but it tells a story. The character on the left is the experienced squad leader, the one in the middle is a girl that was rescued and is wearing a survival/army suit, and the one on the far right is the only remainder of said squad.

Interesting premise.
From a survival point of view the generic suits work, as stuff like that would be standard issue for a well organized group.

I find this awsome because the following
A: What are the bad guys doing on thier down time?
B: My airsoft team is called "Organized Anarchy" and the modern anarchy symbol is our bad, on that same arm and it almost looks just like that, exept the colors are inverted, but seeing is how we havent had the people who make the patches to make it yet, I might switch to that color scheme, it looks pritty nice.
C: We are the only team who doesnt wear camo, solid colors all the way, a swatish merc look, kind of like those guys, just less milliary, anyways, nice deviation, just one of those things, got to comment on it.

Do you know what makes this art beautiful? the bible. What a classic touch for the Solider in the end times to be reading the his holey book during his down time. This is VERY typical of WWII. Excellent touch.

But really this is nice.

I really like this one, it's a tribute to the hopelessness of war conflict and death, even postapocalyptic. Yet there it is, faith, the fires of hope still burn and life will continue to move on.

Wow, this is incredible! I love the grim, gloomy atmosphere in the colors and textures placed in this painting while the presence of a Bible-reading soldier gives it a rather small but uplifting inspiration on such a dismal setting. I also really like the designs on the soldiers/survivors. Wonderfully done!
