Twenty fifth day of Monster March!

Day twenty five is Titanosaurus! First off clarification for newer watchers or people who didn't know already, but I personally headcanon Titano as female which is why I drew her with eyelashes lol. I did draw her rather recently back in November said drawing also being a rather similarly looking headshot of her, but I managed to make this one look a bit more different from the previous one

Since I started revamping more of my Kaiju designs, I kinda did the same with Titano, although she already had her design revamped a while ago. I guess you could say this is just some further improvements on it lol. She's one of the few Kaiju that I actually decided to make a more unique design for rather than making her resemble her canon design. Not that I hate her canon design, but I really like the fanmade redesigns of her where she looks like a more scientifically accurate dinosaur, plus I kinda like exaggerating more when I draw her fins lol. I primarily based her off of spinosaurids, since they are the most known semi-aquatic non-avian dinosaurs, and also because her canon design already vaguely resembled spinosaurids. I mostly changed her snout by taking direct inspiration from Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus and making it look more elongated and giving it the distinct shape that it had in order to catch fish. I also gave her razor teeth that resemble those of Spinosaurus. I was kinda tempted to give her a crest but she already has a huge fin on her head along with two antennae so the head crest felt like a bit too much. Still quite happy with her new design and with the drawing overall, and I feel liek I made it look distinguishable enough from the old drawing from November!
