Description "Found poetry" (or "blackout poetry") is a type of poetry created by taking words, phrases, and sometimes whole passages from other sources and reframing them as poetry by making changes in spacing and/or lines (and consequently meaning), or by altering the text by additions and/or deletions.
(From Wikipedia .)

Text reads:
unlock the moonlight,
forge a chain,
bring your candle to glitter again.

This one was a bit different. Once I'd thought of "unlock the moonlight, forge a chain", for some reason the cadence of what I had so far made me want to look for a rhyme. And then I had to make it go round in a circle

I think this is my favourite so far. I like that it could be metaphorical or literal (obviously not real-world literal, but fantasy literal) and I like the way the rhythm (and rhyme) makes it sound like a spell or a chant of some kind.

It almost seems like the first verse of something...?

I adore this, and the book you chose for it too. The poem is beautiful and glides gracefully through the words. The only thing I might point out is that I missed the 'a' at first - it gets lost in the black lines and disappears a bit. Still, a very beautiful and moving piece

Yeah, you have a good point about that. If I still had the original I might go around the outline a bit more strongly (especially on the right), but I think a better remedy would have been to make the circle a bit bigger, so more clear white space around the a. I'll bear it in mind for next time

I agree that a bigger circle for more white space would be the best fix for the problem Still, I think this is one of the best found poetry pieces I have seen! Congratulations on the DD, you deserve it

I've not got anything great to say (besides, I've personally not worked out how to analyse/evaluate Found poetry..) but I really like the simplicity of 'bring your candle to glitter again' - it's hopeful and cool and implicit. Good work on both composition and style (i.e. finding the words, and designing the blackout)
