It's been a LONG time since I did a list like this, and I think there are even more characters who deserve more love. Without further ado, let's get started.

10: Sean Matsuda (Street Fighter)
This character is on this list for very good reason. He's basically the Street Fighter equivalent to Kai (from Mortal Kombat), in that both characters continue to get overshadowed to this day. I agree with my friend that he deserves to be playable again. Maybe he'll be in the final set of DLC in Street Fighter V (though, it's a long shot). If not, then he should return in Street Fighter 6.

9: Wire Sponge (Mega Man X)
I feel sorry for this Maverick due to the amount of hate he gets. Heck, even when I was a little kid, I always loved Wire Sponge for his design. He's very funny-looking. I especially liked how he made it out alive in the Rockman X2 manga, not to mention he reformed.

8: Jarek (Mortal Kombat)
I think this character gets WAY too much disrespect these days. I think he deserves another chance. People hate on him just because he was a Kano clone in MK4, and they still continue to hate him even after he got his own moves in Armageddon. These days, I prefer Jarek over Kano. Since Kano's dead now, I think Jarek should take his place in the next game, and even bring in the other Black Dragon members into the mix.

7: Wart (Super Mario Bros. 2)
This character SERIOUSLY deserves more love. I really wish they'd bring him back in future Mario games. People say the reason why he never returned is because he was never a true Mario character (SMB2 was originally a game called Doki Doki Panic), but that didn't stop Birdo, Shy Guy, and Bob-Omb from appearing in future games following that. Don't get me wrong, I love Bowser and all, but he's been used so much and it's hard to take him seriously anymore now that he's always just playing golf and volleyball or teaming up with Mario for adventures. This is why I think Wart needs his chance to shine again.

6: Despero (DC Comics)
Of all the DC villains out there, this one seems to be the most underappreciated. Unlike most other major villains in the DC universe, Despero has barely made appearances in other media. The first time I knew of this character was in Justice League: Task Force (for Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis), which was mediocre at best. He also appeared in a few cartoons, and also made a brief appearance in the Injustice comics (where he was killed by Sinestro). Despero is yet another character I'd love to see in the Injustice games, as well as DC movies.

5: Decapre (Street Fighter)
I know certain people may not agree with me here, but I think Decapre deserves more love. I personally love this character. In fact, she's my #2 crush from the Street Fighter series (with Cammy being my #1 crush). I can relate to her, too, since while I am a calm person normally, I tend to get angry at times. I would personally love to see Decapre again. In fact, Street Fighter should take notes from Injustice and include premier skins for certain characters. In fact, Decapre (and possibly Juli and Juni) should be a premier skin for Cammy. I think that could work.

4: Martian Manhunter (DC Comics)
Of all the members of the Justice League, this one deserves more love now. Heck, I was baffled that he wasn't in the Justice League movie (which was rather mediocre). Honestly, he should've been in the movie instead of Cyborg. Nothing against Cyborg, but when I think of Cyborg, the Teen Titans come to mind. Plus, Martian Manhunter got it bad in the Injustice comics, where he was killed by Regime Superman. Despite that, I do hope we see him again in future Injustice games.

3: Kollector (Mortal Kombat)
Of all the newcomers in Mortal Kombat 11, this one doesn't get a lot of respect. I can sorta understand why, mainly because he did jack shit in the story mode. That aside, he deserves more love. I always loved his design, and his voice is creepy, but in a good way. In fact, I can picture him being friends with Reptile. That would be one heck of a relationship if I do say so myself.

2: Elena (Street Fighter)
This character is another one who really deserves more appearances in the Street Fighter games. Although she has slightly more appearances than R. Mika, she still deserves more playable love regardless. Here's hoping she'll be among the final set of DLC characters in Street Fighter V. If not, there's always Street Fighter 6.

1: Plant Man (Mega Man)
I'm sure you all knew I was gonna put this character not only on this list, but also at the #1 spot, right? Anyways, as you all probably know by now, Plant Man is my #1 favorite Robot Master, and this is coming from someone who loves nature. I'm sick of him getting so much hate. I agree with my friend that he deserves more love, and I especially love the way she draws Plant Man in her fan art pics. I can also relate to Plant Man, since I get easily depressed. Poor Plant Man (and me, for that matter). He deserves a hug.
