Remember last time when I did my Top 10 Characters That Deserve Better? Well naturally, it's time to go flip it around. And remember, it's just my opinion. Don't question it.Before I even begin, I just wanna give credit to cupcakeforever19 for this.sneakylizard.deviantart.com/ar…
Without further ado, let's begin the list.
10: Arcturus Mengsk (StarCraft).
Oh my God, I f***ing hate this character with a passion for a number of reasons. I begin to notice a pattern here. The deaths of two thirds of the main series characters are Mengsk's fault. That's right, he is responsible for almost every major death that took place in the StarCraft Universe. You would think I'd blame Kerrigan for all of it, but no. She had no control over her actions. I think of her as a sympathetic character.
First of all, if Mengsk hadn't abandoned her on Tarsonis, then Kerrigan never would have become infested. For this reason, it's Mengsk's fault that Aldaris got killed by Kerrigan before he could reveal about her manipulation of Raszagal. Also, it's Mengsk's fault that both General Duke and Fenix got killed. It's even Mengsk's fault that Raszagal got unwillingly killed by Zeratul thanks to Kerrigan's manipulation of her. I'll say it again; the deaths of two thirds of the heroes are Mengsk's fault. A good antagonist, I think not. At least Kerrigan gave the bastard what he deserved at the end of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. I'm sure Mengsk is already suffering in Hell for all the hell (mind you) he's caused. His son, Valerian Mengsk, makes a better emperor than his father.
9: Mr. Krabs (SpongeBob SquarePants).
Ugh. You all probably know why I put this guy on the list, right? Isn't it obvious? HE NEARLY DROVE SOMEONE (Plankton) INTO COMMITTING SUICIDE!!!!! That made me hate Mr. Krabs. 8: General "Thunderbolt" Ross (Marvel Comics).
My God, this guy just pisses me off. Why? Because he won't leave The Hulk alone!! Seriously, all Hulk wants is to be left alone. Yet, General Ross just makes things worse than they already are. Heck, he's even made alliances with the likes of The Leader, M.O.D.O.K, and The Abomination so he could destroy The Hulk. His daughter, Betty Ross, tries to convince him that The Hulk is not a monster, but like pretty much any father in fiction or the real world, he never believes her. Seriously. When will this guy ever learn? Heck, remember when I mentioned that The Abomination (who is similar in strength to The Hulk) allied with Ross? Well, Ross seems so oblivious of the fact that he's more hideous (hence his name) than his good counterpart. I mean, come on. Get your act straight, man! Hulk has helped out during many battles (for example, alongside the Avengers), yet you just continue to hunt to poor fella down when he clearly just wants to be alone!! I hate you, General Ross. And I hate your mustache, too.
7: Scar (The Lion King).
I hate Scar because of all the tragedy he caused. I especially hate him for killing Mufasa, which made me cry.I also hate him for driving Simba into exile, and nearly letting all the animals starve because of his poor leadership. At least he got what he deserved by his own (former) hyena minions. I hope he's suffering in Animal Hell for what he did.
6: Ratigan (The Great Mouse Detective).
This guy just made me mad throughout the course of TGMD. There are several reasons why. First of all, he had one of his own henchman (Bartholomew) fed to his pet cat (Felicia) just because he called him a "rat". Well, the poor guy was intoxicated, you should cut him some slack. Even his own henchman tried to defend the poor guy, but even that wasn't enough. Another thing that really made me wanna choke this rat bastard was the fact that he abused my favorite character in the movie (Fidget the Bat). And to add insult to injury, during the getaway near the end of the movie, Ratigan threw Fidget out of his blimp in order to "lighten the load", and fell into the Thames River, where he appeared to have drowned. Although, the final issue of Disney Adventures magazine revealed that he not only survived, but reformed as well. That was a relief. Despite that, I hope this happens to you, Ratigan. 5: Quan Chi (Mortal Kombat).
Man, I hate this guy. Well, gameplay-wise, he's fun to play with, but storywise, I hate him. Quan Chi is basically the Sigma (Mega Man X) of Mortal Kombat. The reason why is because of all the bad things they've done throughout the course of their respective game series. In Quan Chi's case, he's responsible for the deaths of Scorpion's family and clan, and made him blame Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) for it. At least Scorpion gave him what he deserved in MKX, for all the Hell he caused him.
4: Kobra (Mortal Kombat).
My God, this guy is a disgrace. Kobra is definitely no Ken Masters. He thinks he's trying to be cool by looking like him. Ken Masters would definitely not be amused, and he sure as Hell would best Kobra in a fight. That's for sure.
3: Meat (Mortal Kombat).
Oh dear God, here's Meat. I mean...JUST LOOK AT THIS GUY!!! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!!!??? He's a skinless dude wearing a diaper. Absolutely disgraceful. Am I supposed to find it scary? F*** no!!!! Meat seriously needs to be put in a meat grinder. Then we can make some steaks and hamburgers out of him. That would be great.
2: Mokap (Mortal Kombat).
I..I can't believe this guy even exists. I seriously just wanna punch this guy in the face. A motion capture guy should NOT exist in a Mortal Kombat game!!!! Period!!!!
1: Hsu Hao (Mortal Kombat).
Oh dear God, I'm sure many of you saw this one coming. Just, oh my God. I F***ING HATE HSU HAO!!!!! Seriously, look at him!! An absolutely disgusting mess of a character. He's a disgrace!!!! He does not belong in a Mortal Kombat game!!! Is it really any wonder why this loser is one of my Fatality dummies? Well.....NOBODY, NOT EVEN THE CREATORS, LIKE THIS DISGUSTING PIECE OF TRASH CHARACTER!!!!!!!

Indeed. Ratigan was such a bastard. If he hadn't thrown Fidget off of the blimp, he never would have crashed into Big Ben, so it's pretty much his own fault. And that led to his ultimate demise.

And regarding Ratigan, there's just one thing that just really confuses me to this day. In the climax, it didn't seem like Ratigan was too worried about an escape route or falling and dying himself. I guess it seemed that his only goal was to kill Basil and he didn't care what happened to himself in the process.

Well I do feel like I am the only person who likes Quan Chi while many of my friends hate him. I can understand why they hate him but I think he does a good job for being a ruthless villain.

A character that I personally think deserves worse is Ulfric Stormcloak, in my humble opinion.

Scar's death reminds me of a scene in Beauty and the Beast that didn't make it into the final film. In one of the earliest scripts, Gaston's death would have been different, as the battle against Beast would have taken place in the forest. In this early version of the script, Gaston would wound the Beast and nearly kill him with his blunderbuss, when Belle strikes him from behind with a rock. This would have prompted him to fall off a cliff and breaking one of his legs. Upon trying to stand up, he notices that the wolves who attacked Maurice and Belle earlier are looking at him, and maul him. This idea was scrapped because the writers thought that it was too gruesome and horrible, although this idea was later used in The Lion King, more specifically in the sequence of Scar's death at the hands (or rather, jaws) of the hyenas. Ironically, the above mentioned scene of Scar's death (as the final version of the ending) was chosen for the exact same reason why Gaston's original death was cut: The original was deemed to be too graphic and scary for a Disney film.
On another interesting note, most of Gaston's actions were edited out of the final cut of the film: during his battle with the Beast, Gaston was originally intended to shout "Time to die!" but it was changed to "Belle is MINE!" (though his lips still mouth "Time to die!") in order to edit violence and get the main point of his rage straight. Also, Gaston's death scene originally had him stabbing the Beast in the back and committing suicide by falling to his death while laughing maniacally, as if satisfied that if he could not have Belle, then neither would the Beast. Though this was changed to Gaston accidentally losing his footing, it appears to explain why Gaston chose such a dangerous and risky position to wound the Beast despite knowing that it would not help him win Belles heart.

Speaking of The Lion King, there was a deleted scene that would've changed the ending from The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. Originally, Zira, the main antagonist, when Kiara tries to save her from the raging river below, Zira actually says "No. Never." in response to Kiara saying "I'll help you." to her, and she lets go of the cliff, falling to her death willingly. So if that had made it into the movie, Zira would've committed suicide instead of letting Kiara help her. I think this was a last minute change, since they already had the official voice actress doing the line in the deleted scene, and when Zira falls, she seems to be smiling, just like in the unfinished deleted scene. They didn't bother to change her facial expression when she fell, so I think that it was a very last-minute change.

The thing is, that one scene from the lion kind when scar is singing be prepared, they made that knowing full well that it was a reference from WW2. Ever notice how scar is standing on a rock like a podium?! Disney, even though I will admit that you make great movies, I also admit that you are the FUCKING DEVIL for putting stuff like this in CHILDREN'S FILMS. I wouldn't be surprised if you changed your logo to fucking COMIC SANS font. Honestly...

Wow, I never knew until now the way Scar was standing on the podium was a reference to dictatorship (kinda like Adolf Hitler). Then again, I was only a kid when The Lion King first came out in theaters. Back then, I didn't know any better.

Thank god Mokap won't exist in the reboot universe, but Kobra and Hsu Hao already got what they deserved (Kobra killed by Erron Black and Hsu Hao getting killed by Scorpion in the first issue of the MKX comics). I hated Thunderbolt for what he did to poor Hulk, but at least he got what he deserved: turned into a Hulk himself (a Hulk with red skin who's a gun nut).
