As you all know, tomorrow is the date on which some Christians think the apocalypse will happen. This whole 5-21-2011 end of the world craze was started by one Harold Camping. Now it turns out that in the early 1990s, Camping predicted that the world would end in September 1994. That prediction turned out to be false. And that's where this piece of Scripture comes in. God makes it perfectly clear that if a prophet makes a prediction and that prediction turns out to be false, then the prophet is a liar and should not be trusted again. I believe Camping fits these parameters-if he was wrong once, then he will be wrong again.Related content

"Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father."
What it means is, no one but God knows when the end of this world, not the world itself, but the end of the imperfections, will be.

Thank you freaking God someone has a brain! Luckily, I was five years old when his first false prediction was made, but hearing this even before I found that out, I still didn't believe it. Only God himself knows when the world will end, no mortal can make this type of prediction. I personally think that the one thing that will end all mankind is man itself. Again, that's my opinion.
